Owns day to day responsibility for customer service including:
- Internal requisitions and order entry and error resolution, liaison with US GSS team to solve errors.
- Order management via pitcher/catcher connection with GSS and GSO teams in the US (order priorities, shipping schedules and local deliveries).
- Liaison with in country customs agents for the clearance of orders if necessary.
- Liaison with material managers for the receipt of deliveries into Oracle and resolution of shortage issues.
- Warranty returns and tracking.
- Produce Certificates of Conformity, Advice Notes and purchase requisitions as required.
- Liaison with other GE companies and affiliates worldwide for returns and the supply of spares.
- Liaison with customers to resolve issues, including attendance at meetings where required.
- Interface between customers and GE worldwide for the return of UX items.
- Preparation of all export documentation.
- Negotiation with couriers to facilitate the dispatch of parts and returns process in country and RDCs.
2. Integrate with local field service team to provide support cover for leave etc. including:
- Provide support to service teams as required.
- Process customer feedback with the aim of resolving customer queries and complaints in a timely manner.
3. Additional Responsibilities:
- Other customer related activities as required.
- Ensuring adherence to ISO9001/2000 quality standards and procedures in all the above activities.
- To comply with GE Corporate & local GE Environment, Health & Safety requirements at all timesQualifications/Requirements:
- Experience in after sales care and customer support with customer liaison skills. Caring attitude to customers, communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and have good organizational skills. Experience of office administration procedures.
- Demonstrate an understanding of customers’ needs and commitment to quality of continuous service.
- Ability to work well in a team essential.
- Must be computer literate in Word, Excel and Oracle and other order mgmt. systems.
- Broad knowledge of GETS products.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Accustomed to working unsupervised and under pressure, dealing with conflicting demands.
- Willingness to undertake the many varied duties vital to this position and keen to adopt new challenges.
- Must understand and comply to GE and customer site safety regulations and PPE when on customer site
