To consistently produce high quality, cost effective serum products in accordance with SOPs/WIDs and CGMP requirements, whilst maintaining traceability for all products.Essential Responsibilities: Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
? Provide all facilities and equipment required for the company’s operations and ensure those items are provided “ready for use”. The facilities and equipment should enable production to be carried out in an efficient, cost effective and quality based manner
? Services, repairs, and maintains all production and support facilities and equipment
? Contractor induction programme
? Emergency response co-ordination
? Manage a routine preventative maintenance programme for all equipment
? Manage site maintenance and maintain site presentation and general facilities in a “ready to audit” state
? Responsible to ensure equipment and facilities comply with quality standards
? Sharing on-call responsibilities for equipment alarm systems
? Equipment calibration scheduling
? Ability to lift/move loads of up to 25kgs
? Comply with EHS (Health & Safety) regulations and policies
? Participate in weekly communication meetings, annual site action workouts in terms of lean & EHS
? Maintaining hygiene and dress standards as per SOPs/WIDs
? Other duties as assigned, and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams, weed control, grounds work, cleaning of buildings etc
? Monitor and maintain all plant, equipment and vehicles as per daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, six- monthly log books
? Monitor plant and equipment temperatures via Intech, i.e. storage and blast freezers, incubators, QC fridges
? Removal and cleaning up after filtrations
? Be available for after hours & weekend work when required
? Comply with various company procedures and instructions
? Monitoring of various temperatures and pressures
? Daily running and updating Maximo PM System
? Assist in Production as required in liason with the Facilities Manager
? Any other duties that may be reasonably requested

1. High School Diploma or local equivalent

2. Excellent communications skills in English, both written and verbal.

3. Experience in a regulated cGMP manufacturing environment an advantage

4. Comprehensive computer skills

5. Flexible working hours

6. Current OSH Certificate for the operation of a forklift an advantage

7. Mechanical aptitude an advantage
