Beacon Digital Marketing is looking for a contract UX/Web Copywriter to be part of a fun, fast-paced, and growing B2B digital marketing agency. This UX/Web Copywriter will craft compelling, user-centered content for digital interfaces like websites and social media platforms, targeting general users and C-Suite-level executives. The focus will be on enhancing the user experience through engaging microcopy, navigational prompts, CTAs, informational content, and supporting multimedia elements like video scripts. 


This individual will collaborate with UX designers and content strategists to ideate and iterate on content that supports usability, brand storytelling, and user engagement objectives. This role requires a keen understanding of how copy influences user interactions and decision-making within digital environments.


This position presents a unique opportunity to join a remote-first digital agency working with B2B clients who are shaping the future of business. Our clients are growth-mode companies in the cyber security, fintech, B2B SaaS and professional services industries.


Responsibilities:
<li style="">Develop high-converting copy for all website and landing pages, product & solution descriptions, and company stories.<li style="">Working closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that the textual content fits well within the design framework and contributes positively to the user interface.<li style="">Participating in usability testing and accepting feedback on how well the copy works within the user experience. Making adjustments based on user feedback to improve clarity, engagement, and effectiveness.<li style="">Work closely with content strategists to write copy that meets business goals, target audience preferences, and industry trends.<li style="">Collaborate with the creative & content teams to maintain a consistent brand voice and tone, ensuring alignment with brand personality, values, and messaging strategy.<li style="">Implement best SEO practices, utilize keyword research, and seamlessly incorporate relevant keywords for improved organic visibility.<li style="">Review and edit copy for accuracy, consistency, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to brand guidelines, enhancing clarity and effectiveness.<li style="">Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative & content, to align copy with visual elements and overall campaign objectives.<li style="">Conduct thorough research on target audiences, market trends, and competitors to inform effective messaging strategies.<li style="">Optimize copy for SEO, ensuring both persuasiveness and search engine-friendliness.<li style="">Ensuring that all written content is accessible and inclusive, making it understandable for people with various disabilities and from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications:
<li style="">Proven experience as a UX/Web Copywriter or similar role.<li style="">Strong understanding of digital marketing, user experience, and customer behavior.<li style="">Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio showcasing successful conversion-focused projects.<li style="">Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform and optimize copy strategies.<li style="">A creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, compelling messages.<li style="">Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.<li style="">Certifications in UX Writing, Digital Marketing, or SEO, preferred.&#160;<li style="">Basic HTML and Markdown knowledge, preferred.&#160;<li style="">Familiarity with Google Suite, Figma, HotJar, ClickUp, Slack, and related tools is a plus.We’re in the Happiness Business
