Posted Position Title: Reliability Engineer Career Level: Experienced Function: Engineering/Technology Function Segment: Services Engineering Location: Australia U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: City: Central Queensland Postal Code: Relocation Assistance: No Role Summary/Purpose: Provide condition monitoring and corrective maintenance services in vibration, oil & motor analysis, laser alignment, precision balancing, IR thermography, ultrasonic leak detection. Provide consultation and corrective service on Balance of Plant Essential Responsibilities:

• Collect vibration, IR, oil, motor and/or ultrasonic data and provide reports to customers.
• Effective customer communication and time management to ensure adherence to budgeted survey hours and expenses
• Efficient job paperwork management, purchase orders at commencement and entry of hours and expenses before completion
• Mentor less experienced technicians and communicate valuable information to all
• Perform work safely according to the Alstom MSc Safety Plan
  Assigned hardware kits are maintained complete, calibrated and serviceable including electrical safety tags at all times.
• Perform complex consultative services including supporting root cause analysis
• Perform criticality auditing on customer sites
• Perform onsite laser alignment and balancing
  Input into the development of SOPs for the AMS Technical groups

Qualifications/Requirements: Education

- Electrical or Mechanical Engineer qualification
Specific knowledge and skills

- Driver’s license valid in Australia

- VCAT3 Vibration certified or equivalent favourable

- Post Grad studies in Reliability & Maintenance favourable

- Understanding of OH&S practices
