The position of Field Manager will report to the Region Service Leader and will be responsible for providing field service operations leadership in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the operations, maintenance, commissioning and repair of oilfield equipment on an assigned project
• Direct manpower, materials, equipment and tools, etc., associated with the field services operations
• Coordinate maintenance and work schedules and establish operating and control procedures
• Administer staffing requirements, counseling and disciplinary action
• Conduct performance evaluations and ensure job positions are assigned according to capabilities of individuals
• Be responsible for field services technicians and other personnel and ensure that these personnel receive adequate review of their work progress, safety instruction as well as technical training
• Develop budgets, training programs and reports to ensure that teams operate to their maximum efficiency

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with solid experience in an ESP or rod pump PCP position)
• Leadership / supervisory experience leading teams

Eligibility Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, including traveling to different countries in Africa a minimum of 6 times per year (rotationional schedule)
• Ability and willingness to work onshore in extreme weather conditions including heat / humidity, cold, wind, altitude
  Ability and willingness to exert up to 10lb/5kg of force, constantly; exert up to 20lbs/10kg of force, frequently; exert up to 50lbs/23kg of force, occasionally
• Ability and willingness to operate both light and heavy equipment
• Ability and willingness to stand, walk, use hands for manual dexterity, crawl, climb, floor sitting, kneel and/or exert force
• To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Desired Characteristics:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Applied Sciences, or Engineering from an accredited university or college is preferred
• Six Sigma training is preferred
• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Customer Service mindsetOil & Gas Field Services leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet processing, email programs, and computerized diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
