Position Title: Experienced Diesel Service TechnicianLocation: Salina, Kansas transitioning to new location off I-70 in Solomon, KSEmployee Status: Full Time, Permanent $3,000 sign-on Bonus for qualifying applicant; Competitive Pay and Benefits, including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Paid Time Off, 401K Match and Profit Sharing Job Summary:KanEquip-Solomon has an opening for a full-time Diesel Equipment Technician to service and repair agriculture and construction equipment. You will contribute to our team by:*Using your skills to diagnose equipment to determine repairs needed and/or recommended for continued equipment reliability.*Performing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel repairs on equipment. Responsible for performing quality work and attaining goals for efficiency.*Completing all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner. *Promoting teamwork and communication through effective interaction with team members. Requirements:*5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, service technician, field technician, or heavy equipment technician.*Mechanic Toolset appropriate for required work.*Knowledge and experience of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems*Acceptable Motor Vehicle status Qualifications:*Associates of Applied Science or Certification in Diesel Technology, Agricultural Power/Technology or Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology and/or equivalent of work experience..*Able to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops*Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends*Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance Compensation:Salary Range*Overtime pay after 40 hours*$5,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates*Performance pay on billing efficiency Benefits:*Medical/Dental/ Vision Coverage*Life and Disability Insurances*AFLAC*Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Plan*401K Match and Profit Sharing*Uniforms*Paid time off and paid holidays*Company Provided Training*Wellness plan
