that he asked me to run through my work related experience. I

each and every position I had held in the past showing him all the
original testimonials. He asked me to explain how I would go about
designing a software application. I answere him. Since all my
education
is in mechanical engineering, he asked me why I switched my career to
IT. I answered him. he also aked how I convinced my first IT employer
to
hire me as I did not have any IT experience. I answered that also.
After
that he asked me why I chose Toronto as my destination. The he asked
me
and my wife about funds. We showed our bank statements and I think he
was satisfied. He asked my wife if we had any relatives in Canada. He
also told her that if it is required then her would go through her
documents also. But at the end he did not. he just said we have been
approved and then will mail the medical forms in a week. The officer
was
courteous and friendly. Thats it.

Speaking or at least showing that you are working hard
on learning french helps a lot in case you are
applying for Quebec. But I have heard that sometimes
they want you to read an article out loud, tell what
you think about it and answer their questions about
the article. In my case my interview ended in 10
minutes. I guess I had enough stuff to prove that I
can adapt fairly easily.
I would advice you to know Quebec a little bit, and
learn french. if you are applying for Quebec that is!

applied for immigration my intend is very obvious. So
