Ensure that security perfection, title flow, duty and pre-settlement compliance issues are determined and satisfied prior to funding.
Undertake settlement of commercial transactions for ANZ Distribution Finance in accordance with Policy and ProceduresEssential Responsibilities: Review and understand transaction structure to determine documentation and pre-settlement compliance requirements.
Preparation and distribution of documentation to sales and customers
Determine and satisfy all security perfection, title flow and duty issues to ensure that GE’s position is protected and perfected at all times.
Liaise with Customer, Risk and Sales teams on documentation issues.
Review all signed documents upon receipt for accuracy and completeness before settlement occurs.
Ensure that all pre-settlement compliance requirements have been met prior to funding.
Ensure documentation is prepared and settlement occurs on a timely basis and in accordance with KPIs and P&P.
Ensure that all new client facilities are entered and activated in receivable system in accordance with signed documents and P&P.
Ensure that all direct debit authorities are entered or updated in accordance with policy.
Maintain documentation and settlement deficiencies to a minimal level to prevent error and rework.
Follow and assist in establishing relevant documentation and settlements compliance guidelines.
Ensure that meaningful business metrics are maintained at all times to measure performance.
Be involved in GE Commercial’s Quality and Simplification initiatives including focus on continuous process improvement.
Other responsibilities as directed by Associate Director Contracts ManagementQualifications/Requirements: Experience in the preparation, negotiation and understanding of lease, loan and security documentation.
Understanding of Australian and New Zealand securities law including the Personal Property Securities Act Experience
In the preparation of lease, loan and security documentation.
In the area of security perfection and title flow
In the preparation of documentation relating to securities registrations.
In preparation of other transaction documentation used in asset finance.
Experience with lease and loan receivable systems.Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of security perfection, title flow and duty requirements.Strong knowledge of the regulatory and compliance issues including Corporations Law, Law of Contracts, National Credit Code, the Privacy Act and the Personal Property Securities Act as relevant to asset financing.Advanced PC Skills, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.Able to handle multiple assignments and completion of same within allocated time frames.Sound organizational skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and as a team player, and assist other members of the team as required
