Job Number: 2046381 Business: GE Transportation Business Segment: Transportation About Us: Posted Position Title: Commercial/Risk Leader Career Level: Experienced Function: Finance Function Segment: Financial Planning and Analysis Location: Australia U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: City: Hunter Valley, Central Coast Postal Code: 2322 Relocation Assistance: No Role Summary/Purpose: The Mining Equipment Commercial Finance Manager will provide all aspects of Commercial Finance and Financing support for the Australian, US and LatAm regions; including: deal scope and strategy, ITO risk analysis and scenario forecast planning. Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead Commercial financial planning cycles, including Blueprint, SII, Operating Plan. Validate assumptions; triangulate with macro-environment and lead indicators.

- Partner with Sales & ComOps leaders during ITO phase: Bond & LC issuance, KYC, Cash flow/scenario analysis, alignment with Treasury on hedge strategy.

- Provide deal financial analysis and insight in support of business decision making including: ownership of deal proposal (financial models) and perform deal sensitivity analysis in preparation for Tollgate and Deal Reviews; evaluation of key R&O - advise on deal structure balancing risk v return; Policy
5.0 review.

- Drive order & revenue convertibility. Own pacing sessions, such as QMI & Tracker updates to GM and Commercial Leaders.

- Support ITO / OTR handoff process for all deals won & coordinate with controllership on accounting matters realted to deal T&Cs.

- Drive profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key findings - As sold v As delivered. Work across functional teams and geographic boundaries to identify and advise the leadership team on key R&O's as well as recommending actions.

- Lead cross-functional projects focused on improving rigor in key Finance processes, reducing costs & improving profitability, including: determination of optimal aftermarket & pricing strategies; ITP v local route to market.

- Interact with and drive GGO S&PF teams, playing a key role in development & execution of structured solutions for customers.

- Own and mange AR & PD's for the Group; ensure swift issue resolution and that forecasted CFOA targets are met.

- Support Sales team variable compensation process: policy introduction, target setup, claim accuracy check.

- Improve ITO finance effficiency through simplification and creation of tools that provide greater availablility of information (eg. Plug & play deal models, price lists, etc)

- Coverage to include running commercial finance point for Global Mining Equipment and Regional Mining Solutions deals as well as proxy support for Global Chief commercial officer. Qualifications/Requirements: ·
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and extensive financial and/or Commercial work experience;

- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.

- Developed critical thinking and analytical skills. Proactively search and implement innovative ideas to support growth whilst mitigating risks.

- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.

- Strategic thinking/Able to understand market and financial trends and be able to recommend programs and tools to promote sales and services.

- Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.

- High level of energy, proactive, high sense of ownership.

- Able to manage several tasks simultaneously with accountability and speed. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Desired Characteristics: · Demonstrated success in a project leadership role, with the ability to influence others in a highly matrixed environment · Knowledge of contract processes and proposals
- CAS/FMP graduate and previous experience in Commercial Finance preferred.
