The Role : Employment Consultant (Marketing)

A JCAL Employment Consultant provides end to end support for job seekers to access employment opportunities and thrive in the workplace. It starts with preparing the job seeker for work, placing them in employment and then we offer ongoing support to ensure sustainable, successful long-term outcomes.

The role is diverse and exciting, calling upon your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to identify and meet the needs of both job seekers and employers. This is a role you can build and own, making a real, positive and tangible difference to the lives of JCAL jobseekers on a daily basis.

You have

You’re passionate about helping people with a disability find and secure rewarding employment. To ensure success you have (or are working towards) relevant qualifications in Community Services, employment or education and have either direct experience in the Employment Services Industry or transferable skills and knowledge from a like industry.

You’re energetic and result oriented. Your ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with job seekers, employers and other stakeholders is one of your key strengths.

In addition, it’s essential that you’re eligible to work in Australia and possess a current driver’s license, current police check and Working with Children certification.
