Total Logistics Solutions (TLS) contract deliverables. Optimize logistical support requirements supporting annual maintenance forecasting, buffer sizing for engines & modules, rotable levels for repaired components & supply of replacement material (spares).Responsible for AU based Sub-contractor and spare part GE Supply ChainEssential Responsibilities: - Prime Australian based manager for the interface with the US based Customer Account Manager (CAM) and Supply Chain teams, ensuring spare material and component deliveries meet or exceed the TLS contract requirements.
- Develop and sustain a strategy for spare material and repairable flows, with respect to, Australian based and US based warehouses and repair suppliers.
- Reconcile planned vs. actual material replacement rates (MRR) supporting Bill of Material accuracy driving MRP forecasting and planning.
- Determine cause for MRR rate changes based on current trends and repair requirements.
- Responsible for spare material record accuracy, tracability of repairs, customer inventory levels and configuration management.
- Perform analysis against going forecast requirements for documented scrap dispositions.
- Provide master scheduling for engine, modules and components based on shop loading, demand requirements, cycle time, material availability and inventory levels.
Coordinate the efforts of multiple cross-functional groups to resolve bottlenecks, material shortages, and transportation delays.
Objectives and key performance indicators will be agreed upon commencement.
Other performance measures include: - Availability of engines, modules and components to meet program objectives
- Completion of activities and tasks within projected timeframes.
Qualifications/Requirements: Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Australian Defence Security Clearance is a requirement for this role.
Qualifications - Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in logistics management or equivalent logistics experience.
Experience and Knowledge - Desirable experience in RAAF or similar logistics’ systems with respect to material warehousing, planning, transportation, and inventory control.
- Demonstrated experience successfully planning and scheduling inventory workflows in a commercial depot environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a customer environment.
- Experience operating in the aviation and military sectors will be well regarded.
- Experience working in a multinational corporate environment is desirable.
Skills - Demonstrated success in the development, interpretation and negotiation of contracts and associated legal documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence a range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in teams with members based in multiple locations.
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyse data to develop strategic and operational recommendations.
- Proficient in the use of information technology applications to streamline workflows and reporting.
- Trained Green Belt / Black Belt is desirable
