OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A DIVERSE AND THRIVING AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS SALES REPRESENTATIVE AND TRIAL COORDINATOR Magnus Kahl Seeds is an Australian owned allium seed breeding, production and marketing organisation. For more than 30 years Magnus Kahl Seeds has provided high quality onion and shallot seed to commercial onion growers, both domestically and internationally. Sister company Ausallium, specialises in the production and supply of high-quality herb and vegetable seed for the microgreen, herb and baby-leaf industries. We also produce a range of niche allium bulbs, including shallots and echalions, which are supplied to wholesale markets throughout Australia. We are currently looking for an individual, with strong communication and people skills, to enter the role of Sales Representative and Trial Coordinator for both companies. The key responsibilities of the role are as follows; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESBe an active member of the Magnus Kahl Seeds & Ausallium sales teams in designated domestic markets by visiting customers at key sales times throughout the seasonDevelop and nurture customer relationshipsMeet company sales targetsSearch for and contact new leadsUtilise the company CRM software to record customer communications Place domestic trials with growers, plant, monitor and report on final resultsProvide a conduit between the breeding team and the sales team by communicating results of trials and informing of customer requirementsCatalogue trial results and reportsAssist with the development of international marketsAssist the sales team with marketing activities and eventsExtensive domestic travel is part of the role APPLICANT REQUIREMENTSStrong communication skills Solution based attitude and ability to find a wayThe ability and the want to learn about company productsTeam first mentality Attention to detailDegree in agriculture/horticulture preferredExperience in agriculture/horticulture preferredMust have completed year 12Must have a driver's licenseCompetent level of IT skillsPosition: Full Time 37.5 hours/weekLocation: North West Victoria, in the Mildura areaDomestic Travel Required Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and CV by clicking on APPLY TO THIS POSITION
