Efficiently and accurately develop wiring and installation drawings for GE Automation Products.Essential Responsibilities:
- Production of detailed Pre-Commissioning procedures and method statements in line with project requirements for control system upgrade projects and electrical modification works
- Supervision and technical support to Commissioning Technicians in the execution of their activities on site.

- Adherence to all applicable site/project safety procedures / active participation in all company/project safety initiatives.

- Progress reporting of Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning activities as required by the project.

- Identification and sourcing of Pre-Commissioning tools / spares / consumables as required.

- Commissioning of Variable Speed Drives, Pump Off Controllers, Well Manager Systems and Remote Telemetry Unit.

- Supervision of the Installation of Down-hole Pressure Gauge.

- Highlight and demonstrate a full understanding of GE PC Q/EHS procedures.

- Other duties/special projects upon request from Management

Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications

- Engineering Degree in relevant discipline (electrical engineering).

- Thorough understanding and application of engineering disciplines including knowledge of appropriate engineering standards and application.

- Exceptional knowledge of Electricity and Work Regulations, Wiring Regulations, IEC, AS3000 and others.
II. Experience

- Minimum of three years preferably five years post-graduate industrial experience of which two years should be in heavy mechanical engineering or in a relevant technical discipline.

- Oil and Gas experience: can be in any segment of the process, subsea, upstream, midstream, or downstream.
III. Technical Knowledge/Skill set

- Commercial acumen and an understanding of contract management.

- Troubleshooting skills, including Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques

- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.

- Strong commitment to health and safety of self and others, able to influence others poor safety behaviours and attitudes.

- Adept in dealing effectively with conflicting demands and priorities and managing personal time.

- Sound process orientation in approach to work.

- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to guide and influence others

- Hazardous area design experience to ATEX, IEC Ex, NEC 505, API 15 etc. Does not require experience in all but does need some experience
