The Role
- Supporting Job Seekers with on the support and job training
- Build / maintain strong employer relationships
- Preparing Job seekers for work
- Placing Job seekers into employment
- Ongoing support of job seekers in employment
- Collaborate with stakeholders for results
You have
- Previous experience in similar role DES preferred or minimum 12 months experience in a relevant field or relevant transferable skills from a different industry
- A demonstrated commitment to working with people with injury, ill health or disability
- Ability to identify key interventions, strategies, vocational and non-vocational Jobseekers needs.
- Ability to facilitate on the job training. Mentoring and support for employed job seekers and employers.
- Ability to train job seekers in creating resumes, online profiles, attending interviews, contacting employers etc.
- Ability to coach and mentor multiple job seekers simultaneously and productively
- Strong knowledge of contracts and compliance
- Proven ability to achieve results and exceed targets
- Proven time management and organisational skills
- Solutions focused
- Resilience and positive outlook
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills*and effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with job seekers, employers and other key stakeholders
- High level of computer literacy (word, excel, outlook)
- An understanding of NDIS
Essential
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Current driver’s license
- Criminal History check
- Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes
