Position Purpose:
The Relationship Management Consultant proactively builds JCAL employer and industry contacts and relationships to identify and help Candidate Support Consultants achieve successful employment/work experience placements. By providing in depth specialist employment market expertise – including sophisticated environment scanning – they play a critical role in ensuring JCAL candidates are placed in appropriate and supportive roles and environments and in nurturing the potential for career options for the candidates over time.
The role encompasses proactive marketing of JCAL services, playing a critical role in ensuring JCAL candidates are placed in appropriate and supportive roles and environments and in nurturing the potential for career options for the candidates over time.
Alongside their responsibilities for building and maintaining a strong network of supportive local employers, there is also the direct responsibility for strategic community engagement. Proactively developing and maintaining strong community relationships will ensure JCAL maintains sufficient levels of participation within their employment related programs, supporting the ongoing success of the business.
Relationship Management Consultants also mentor and coach more junior team members in effective proactive business development and relationship building across a variety of work environments.

You will need
Well developed relationship and stakeholder management experience and skills
Well honed recruitment skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with candidates, employers and other key stakeholders
A collaborative, team player approach
A demonstrated commitment to working with injury, disability or health condition
Resilience and a positive outlook and a commitment to personal development and career progress
Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and effective negotiation/consultation,
