The Role
The Community/Partnerships Engagement Co-Ordinator will be responsible for promoting the Job Centre Australia brand through engaging in the local community, networking with community leaders, employers and organisations, fostering multiple community partnerships and ongoing employment opportunities.
- Develop a strong knowledge of the Central Coast and its communities
- Build relationships and partnerships with support organisations and employers
- Deliver employment vacancies suitable to JCAL participants
- Organise and help deliver professional events and presentations on behalf of JCAL at external stakeholder functions
- Provide information to front line staff regarding local community needs
- Generate business opportunities that meet JCAL customer needs
- Maintain and secure applicable Job Centre Australia Limited assets, finances and records
- Provide timely and accurate strategic data, analysis and information.
You have
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish and successfully maintain quality business relationships and partnerships
- Proven networking and business development capability
- Strong knowledge of local Community and Support organisations
- High level organisational/planning skills and have the ability to lead and influence
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft and Internet platforms
- The ability to work with and contribute to multiple teams within the organisation
- Sound business improvement experience
- An understanding of NDIS
Essential
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Current driver’s license
- Criminal History check
- Working with Children check (pending legislation)
