The Role

• Supporting Job Seekers with on the support and job training
• Build / maintain strong employer relationships
• Preparing Job seekers for work
• Placing Job seekers into employment
• Ongoing support of job seekers in employment
• Collaborate with stakeholders for results

You have

• Previous experience in similar role DES preferred or minimum 12 months experience in a relevant field or relevant transferable skills from a different industry
• A demonstrated commitment to working with people with injury, ill health or disability
• Ability to identify key interventions, strategies, vocational and non-vocational Jobseekers needs.
• Ability to facilitate on the job training. Mentoring and support for employed job seekers and employers.
• Ability to train job seekers in creating resumes, online profiles, attending interviews, contacting employers etc.
• Ability to coach and mentor multiple job seekers simultaneously and productively
• Strong knowledge of contracts and compliance
• Proven ability to achieve results and exceed targets
• Proven time management and organisational skills
• Solutions focused
• Resilience and positive outlook
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills*and effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with job seekers, employers and other key stakeholders
• High level of computer literacy (word, excel, outlook)
• An understanding of NDIS

Essential

• Eligible to work in Australia
• Current driver’s license
• Criminal History check
• Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes
