Position description :
We are seeking an accomplished Tunnel Engineering Lead to spearhead tunnel engineering excellence within large North American Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned engineer with a proven record of accomplishment in overseeing and implementing technical solutions for tunnel design and construction. This role presents a unique opportunity for a dynamic professional to lead and grow a dedicated technical team, tapping into our international technical resources to drive innovative tunnel infrastructure solutions within industry leading large infrastructure projects. Tunnel Engineering Expertise: Utilize specialized knowledge in tunnel engineering to lead the design, planning, and execution of tunnel components of large infrastructure projects in the US and in Canada. Provide technical oversight and collaboration in pursuits, proposal development, strategic planning and client relationships. * Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of tunnel projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes. * Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing technical team dedicated to advancing tunnel infrastructure solutions. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Support as Technical Lead in conferences, pursuit prepositioning and proposals. * Client Collaboration: Act as a primary technical point of contact, providing insights and recommendations based on expertise. * International Collaboration: Collaborate with international technical resources within the company, leveraging expertise and best practices to enhance tunnel engineering initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Professional registration (e.g. P. Eng., P.E.) in at least one province/ state and willingness to register in other provinces/ states as required. 15+ years of experience in tunnel engineering, with a proven track record in overseeing and implementing technical solutions. Comprehensive knowledge and expertise of various tunneling methods and techniques, geotechnical aspects, and challenging ground conditions. Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and deliver successful tunnel projects on time and within budget. Leadership experience in building and managing technical teams. Familiarity with North American tunneling standards and best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
