Job Summary:
Sales Representatives In-Charge (Provincial Sales Offices: Dammam/ Madina / Abha / Qassim)
This position, focuses on sales figure achievements, and is, chiefly, a field sales job for outgoing candidates who enjoy social competencies, easy-going personality and ability to create and maintain relations with other people. Time management is a key for success and the job requires excellent communication and persuasive skills as well as aptitude for learning and self-development. The job also provides opportunity for developing marketing and management skills as the appointee will pioneer the establishment of a Fresh Provincial Sales Office in the assigned region and is expected to contribute to setting firm and proper foundations for possible future conversion into a Full Branch, depending on success and achievements. For this reason, and while field sales and promotional activities will remain the core of the job tasks, the offered post involves additional marketing and administrative responsibilities, for which the appointee will be expected to develop working skills in and which we will support by providing guidance and training where necessary. The post entails spending the very majority of the work hours in market field activities by conducting promotional sales calls with the aim of creating, growing, and maintaining a wide base of customers as well as establishing close business relations with both of practicing dental professionals and administrative purchasers in each of private and governmental / public health care providers. The post reports to the Sales Manager and to the Regional Manager on administrative issues.
Job Tasks / Roles:
1. Representing the company in a professional manner and accomplishing company mission in competently achieving the company sales-related target results in the assigned province.
2. Developing an overall knowledge of the company’s products, system, policies and services.
3. Developing a clear understanding about the dental market in the Kingdom in general as well as the particulars / trends / requirements of the dental market in the assigned province and the neighboring cities and towns, watching for marketing opportunities in the region (exhibitions, conferences, hands-on courses …etc...).and using such knowledge in marketing and sales planning.
4. Developing a general knowledge about the particulars of competitive products and monitoring the relevant activities of competitor companies in the assigned territories then developing counter-action plans and strategies.
5. Using professional knowledge, and additionally acquiring new technical and clinical knowledge, for scientifically studying and understanding the specification and particulars of all the products, in accordance with marketing strategies of the company.
6. Conducting regular promotional sales calls to professionals in the relevant specialties and to the managerial staff of customers in the assigned territories on pre-planned monthly and weekly schedules, and on demand.
7. Traveling to neighboring assigned towns.
8. Maintaining full and accurate updated records of all customers including specialties, products used, objectionsraised, and response to previous presentations, best time to see, and specific requirements.
9. Delivering superior sales presentations to customers by fully planning each call with specific objectives, maintaining the customer’s interest, overcoming objections positively, reframing product features into customer benefits, and the competent use of relevant literature.
10. Maintaining sales and activities reporting mechanism and ensuring the prompt transmission of customer feedback information to the sales supervisor / sales manager / product managers.
11. Preparing quotations and sales proposals with technical specifications.
