
The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, has reaffirmed the EU’s ongoing support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). Borrell made the remarks during a speech at a conference on Syria held in the Belgian capital, Brussels, yesterday. He highlighted that Syria hosts more than 400,000 Palestinian refugees. We must continue to assist Palestinian refugees in Syria and other parts of the region, Borrell stated.
