Our Client is a multi brand F&B specialist with over 15 international and local brands under their management. With a revenue of $250 million a year, they are going from strength to strength and looking to grow their Finance Team by introducing the role of Senior Commercial Finance Manager.

Reporting directly to the CFO in a Finance team of 30, this position will supervise commercial projects & business process re-engineering initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and drive overhead & working capital controls.

The role is challenging and diverse, as part of your job you will be expected to;

•Evaluate & prepare business proposals / models for strategic business growth, supported by analysis of business environment, market research data, local regulations, commercial terms & financial returns.
•Supervise & manage commercial projects (including Central Procurement) and business process re-engineering initiatives, for improving operational efficiencies & controlling overheads and working capital
•Develop, analyze and interpret accounting information in terms of profitability, performance against budgets and other matters having a bearing on fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the Business Units, to enable the Company’s executive team to take informed business decisions
•Lead and motivate a high quality team by developing and implementing performance objectives, coaching /mentoring team and ensuring that individual performance development plans are achieved.

In order to apply for this role, you must:

•Be a professionally Qualified Accountant with your qualification from a Western University,
•Have at least 8-10 years’ experience with at least 5 years at a Senior Management level in Financial, Commercial or Operations Management, involving regular interaction with Senior Management,
•Have an ability to deal with all levels of staff / management / external parties in a persuasive and firm manner,
•Have an appreciation of customer service to, both, internal and external customers,
•Have proven skills / experience in drafting reports / presentations to a high level of analysis and quality,
•Have the ability to present to management and directors.
