Job Summary:
This position, focuses on sales figure achievements, and is basically a field sales job with additional supervisory and some office-based duties. The job involves direct interaction with the regional sales staff, company sales management, regional branch management, regional customers with emphasis on key customers and most importantly prospective key customers in the assigned region. In addition to leadership qualities, organizational and excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate should have an outgoing personality with unyielding determination and sense for new business opportunities identified through scheduled daily field rounds, customer visits, and market research. The postreports mainly to the Sales Manger with reference to the Branch Manager on procedural administrative issues.
Job Tasks / Roles:
1. Representing the company in the assigned region in a professional manner, accomplishing company mission, and satisfactorily achieving the company sales-related target results in the region by submitting regionally-fitted action plans, sales targets and sales expectations based on understanding the particulars of the region, as well as on researching and assessing competitors to appraise company performance and, where necessary, to develop and submit remedying counter-action plans.
2. Developing an overall knowledge of company products, services, internal system, enforcing the company Policies & Procedures with the sub-ordinate sales staff and assisting the Sales Manager in providing them with orientation, support, counseling, reviewing and improving of their action plans and answering to product technical questions and sales-related concerns.
3. Preparing weekly schedules of daily field rounds for conducting scheduled maintenance and promotional visits to existing customers in the assigned region, as well as double visits to support team promotional activities, to appraise their performance, to help them in deal-closing or problem-solving, to expand customer base and identify new business opportunities, to listen and deal with the issues of existing customers, and to collect feedback data about the company products and services.
4. Maintaining, identifying and personally handling an own growing list of key accounts in the assigned region.
5. Monitoring regional stock availability in relation to the actual and forecasted sales and reporting stock requirements to the branch manager.
6. Creating reports showing itemized sales figures, staff adherence & and attendance etc. and Communicating all employee relations issues, concerns, and incidents to the Sales Managers and administrative issues to the Branch Manager.
7. Handling customer issues and complaints, resolving such issues on the spot if necessary and communicating escalated issues to the Sales Manager.
