Key Account Manager
أنا : Mr. Job Our client, a leading grow light supplier for the horticulture market, is hiring a Key Account Manager. The Key Account Manager will provide support throughout the sales cycle - from vetting leads to assisting in payment collection. The successful candidate will identify business opportunities, build and maintain successful team reports and analytics, and work interdepartmentally on joint initiatives. This is a remote position based in the United States. RESPONSIBILITIES:Achieve individual sales revenue goals and contribute to reaching Sales team goals as well as overall company goalsYou will oversee all aspects of the customer relationship to assist them through the sales process from initial consultation and design through solution presentation, closing, and revenueProspect and turn new opportunities into loyal repeat customersUnderstand customer goals early in the relationship and partner with internal technical experts and external industry partners to provide the right solutionsWork across the company with subject matter experts in areas such as lighting design, fixture specification, installation teams, pricing and finance to meet the needs of customersRespond to clients in a timely, respectful and professional manner with a keen sense of customer experienceWork with teams across the organization to resolve customer issues and provide world class service in a timely mannerAct as a Project Manager when working in a complex selling environment both within the company and within the customers businessManage opportunities, quote processes, and payment terms planning for all customer projects and ensure a smooth transition to the relationship management team for the back-end processEnsure an exceptional customer experience through accurate collection and updating of customer information, sales and history through the dedicated CRM systemAnnually create account plans for top revenue producing, strategic accounts, review weekly and monthly with Manager and present to a wider audience as neededWork with Manager to set meaningful goals that contribute to reaching our goals while serving the needs of the customer and contributing to their success DESIRED PROFILE:Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture Science, Agronomy, Business or equivalentMust have 5+ years of relevant horticultural working experience, preferably in sales/customer relations management in controlled growing environmentsRequired in-depth technical horticultural lighting knowledgeSales experience must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as a record of achieving sales goalsProven track record of building productive, trust-based relationships with customers across a range of roles in production, growing, operations and pest managementExisting relationships with external resources within the horticultural segments such as equipment and/ greenhouse manufacturers, and other channel partners is preferredUnderstanding of financials for commercial growers and how the company’s solutions will help improve customer’s financial performance; ability to create and present compelling ROI modelDemonstrated ability to present solutions to customers in such a way as to build confidence and overcome concernsAbility to work in complex customer settings with multiple stakeholders and competing needsSkilled in working collaboratively as part of a team to serve the needs of the customerAble to advocate for the customer internally and represent the voice of the customerWorks with urgency and has enthusiasm about the company's products and customers successHolds themselves accountable to all stakeholdersAlways act with integrity to be a brand ambassadorAbility to be honest and transparent with the customer particularly when having difficult conversations Ability to travel at least 50%, located near a major airport in regionInterested in this Opportunity?
