QUALIFICATIONS:- Looking for self-starter with interest in planting, spraying, and/or harvesting; all three not required, but would be a plus- Experience in Agronomy, irrigation, mechanics, or computers would also be a plus- Familiar with farm, irrigation, and grain handling maintenance- Having a CDL not required, but good driving record with experience driving truck is needed- Excellent communication skills and ability to see the big picture and take initiative to do the job without being told- Work with additional employees as a team in a safe and productive mannerJOB DESCRIPTION:Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a strong Farm Assistant for a Missouri employer. This employer is looking for a candidate with solid ag experience who is willing to cross train in other areas, so if you have a passion for planting, your primary focus can be planting and planter maintenance, but willing to assist in other areas as needed. This position is not just a job, but also a career for the long-term person who understands agriculture and has a passion for farming and wanting to grow in all aspects of the farm operation. Salary will be based upon experience/skills, stability and references, It also includes a good benefits package, which makes this position stand out among others. Employer will allow employees a choice of working hourly with overtime pay or on salary, either way will be about 2500 hours per year.
